Montreal Comiccon: Interview With Local Artist Christopher Moore – ScreenHub Entertainment

Part of the fun of any Comiccon is taking in all the sights and sounds and that includes the plethora of local artists who set up shop to show off their impressive artwork inspired by the films, shows and comics they’ve consumed over the years. One such artist is local boy Chris Moore, who specializes in drawing realistic and comic book inspired portraits of superheroes. Sony had a heavy presence at this year’s Montreal Comiccon and nothing was as anticipated as the upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man game from Insomniac Games. Did You Know ‘Game of Thrones’ Was Inspired By Real Events? – ScreenHub Entertainment

HBO’s Game of Thrones is without a doubt, the most popular show on television. In fact, it’s one of the most popular shows in television history. It’s full of layered characters with complex backstories, intricate narratives and speculator action that is willing to kill off anyone it sees fit. Oh – and there’s also massive dragons. It’s a land full of magic and wonder; despite the grounded approach to politics and character interactions, but it’s those latter points that draw from the real world. Game of Thrones, and the book series A Song of Ice and Fire may be fictional, but they draw heavy inspiration from some real-world events. So as we await the first trailer for season 8, tune into this in-depth look at the history behind the franchise!

Why Disney Should Do A Live Action Remake Of ‘The Black Cauldron’-ScreenHub Entertainment

Disney’s is going full steam ahead on its live action remakes. We’ve seen hits like The Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast in recent years and have The Lion King, Aladdin and Tim Burton’s Dumbo on the horizon. But as the remakes continue, it’s clear that Disney is clearly focusing the greatest hits from its catalog. And while that’s likely the best move financially, as more people will likely go see something they enjoy already, I think Disney should go deep into the vault and pull The Black Cauldron from out of the darkness.

Brace Yourself; A ‘Game Of Thrones’ Prequel Has Just Been Greenlit – ScreenHub Entertainment

News just broke out that HBO has officially ordered a Game of Thrones prequel pilot episode set thousands of years before the events of the main series and books. The fantasy epic hasn’t even come to a conclusion yet, with the final eight season due sometime in 2019, but HBO knows a good thing when they see it and want to ensure subscriptions stay up after the show is complete. So naturally, they want to continue to explore the history of Westeros and all it’s complicated families.

Brace Yourself – Two Different Joker Movies Are Now In Development – ScreenHub Entertainment

Suicide Squad was no one’s favourite movie. Despite a rockin’ trailer, the film opened to overwhelmingly negative reviews. I myself couldn’t even finish the film, despite initially being excited to see the ensemble piece starring Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Jared Leto as the Joker. But the film made a killing at the box office thanks to its impressive marketing campaign that showcased style over substance. Now, one of the most divisive and unusual aspects of that film is getting his own standalone film.
