Can Sony’s “Spider-Verse” Work Without Spider-Man? – ScreenHub Entertainment

Ever since Tobey Maguire was shooting webs out of his wrists, Spider-Man has had his home at Sony. That was a different time when the studio was focusing on one movie at a time and one franchise at once without even considering spinoffs. HBO’s Game of Thrones is without a doubt, the most popular show on television. In fact, it’s one of the most popular shows in television history. It’s full of layered characters with complex backstories, intricate narratives and speculator action that is willing to kill off anyone it sees fit. Oh – and there’s also massive dragons. Why Disney Should Do A Live Action Remake Of ‘The Black Cauldron’-ScreenHub Entertainment

Disney’s is going full steam ahead on its live action remakes. We’ve seen hits like The Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast in recent years and have The Lion King, Aladdin and Tim Burton’s Dumbo on the horizon. But as the remakes continue, it’s clear that Disney is clearly focusing the greatest hits from its catalog. And while that’s likely the best move financially, as more people will likely go see something they enjoy already, I think Disney should go deep into the vault and pull The Black Cauldron from out of the darkness.

Brace Yourself – Two Different Joker Movies Are Now In Development – ScreenHub Entertainment

Suicide Squad was no one’s favourite movie. Despite a rockin’ trailer, the film opened to overwhelmingly negative reviews. I myself couldn’t even finish the film, despite initially being excited to see the ensemble piece starring Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Jared Leto as the Joker. But the film made a killing at the box office thanks to its impressive marketing campaign that showcased style over substance. Now, one of the most divisive and unusual aspects of that film is getting his own standalone film.

Where ‘God of War’ Should Explore Next – ScreenHub Entertainment

In 2018, God of War was released on the PS4 to universal acclaim and became a best seller overnight. It boosted sales of the PS4 console itself and proved to naysayers that singleplayer gaming isn’t dead. The 2018 edition of the game saw a lot of advancements made, from an emphasis on story and character to a semi-open world structure that encouraged exploring and sidequests. The new game took the action from Ancient Greece, where the original trilogy and its spin-offs took place and brought Kratos, the border-line villain from the original games and thrust him into the realm of Norse mythology, along with the responsibility of being a single dad. It was quite the shift and critics and fans loved it. Now with the sales and reception being so positive, it’s only a matter of time before a follow-up title is announced. So where should Kratos and his son explore next? While it seems that the next game will continue to be set in the Norse Pantheon, the studio is looking to the future and considering other locales to bring the God of War to.

‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Review – ScreenHub Entertainment

“I have a bad feeling about this”. That’s what crossed many Star Wars fans’ minds, myself included, when Solo: A Star Wars Story was first announced. After a shaky production, which saw original directors Lord and Miller get the boot and replaced by Hollywood old guard Ron Howard, Solo: A Star Wars Story is finally here. Set prior to the events of A New Hope and Rogue One, Solo follows a much younger Han Solo in his early smuggling years.  Played this time by Alden Ehrenreich, the film has a lot to prove as many fans have been vocal about not wanting to see Han Solo’s early years and after the mixed reception to The Last Jedi which divided the fan base, Solo needed to be a hit. So how is it?
