Deep within the hallowed halls of San Diego Comic Con, the year of 2019, the honorable director Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok) took the stage and bestowed the greatest of honors. A woman, whom many Marvel fans may have forgotten about, was deemed worthy of wielding the mighty Mjolnir. The world was awestruck. Actress Natalie Portman has played the character Jane Foster in the MCU almost … Continue reading The Mighty Jane Foster: Moments From the Comics We Hope We See in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ – ScreenHub Entertainment

This film, with a budget of $350-400 million, is really the cinematic event of the decade. With over 20 films over 11 years leading up to it, Avengers: Endgame ties together the (arguably) only successful cinematic universe in a truly incredible spectacle. Again directed by the Russo Brothers and written by Jack Kirby, Stan Lee (character writing credits) and Stephen McFeely (Captain America: Civil War, … Continue reading ‘Avengers: Endgame’ SPOILER FREE Movie Review – ScreenHub Entertainment

Sony’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is the second Spiderverse film this year after Venom and the second film to feature a web crawler after Avengers Infinity War. Part of the fun of any Comiccon is taking in all the sights and sounds and that includes the plethora of local artists who set up shop to show off their impressive artwork inspired by the films, shows and comics they’ve consumed over the years. The onset of 2018 brought its own set of disruptions that upset society’s normally peaceful façade. With such disorder came a surge of change that has yet to show any signs of slowing. Among these controversial conversations were political talks centred around a push for equality of all kinds – equality for racial minorities, for women, for the LGBT+ community. While none of these topics have emerged as novelty ideas, previously unfamiliar to humanity, their importance has been widely disregarded throughout history by people in positions of power. Politicians, the media, and the big businesses alike have turned a blind eye to the most marginalized groups in society; yet, as this new era dawns, many are determined to give prominence to those whose lives are too often neglected.

Avengers Infinity War is almost upon us and everyone seems to be talking about it. A film ten years in the making, people seem legitimately worried about the livelihood of some of these heroes and directors Joe and Anthony Russo aren’t helping, promising that no one is safe for this film. The MCU has been criticized for being “too safe” and “easy” in the past, but it looks like all that is about to go out the window now that Thanos is on the scene. Heck, they won’t even reveal the title of the fourth Avenger film for fear of upsetting people, as they stated fans should be worried. With all that mind in, let’s take a speculative look at who’s most likely to permanently bite the dust in the upcoming blockbuster epic.
Marvel’s Agent Carter debuted 3 years ago and ran for only two seasons before being cancelled, not by Marvel, but by ABC. Since then, there have been many movements to get Agent Carter to return to the screen. Kevin Feige has commented that he would ‘love to see Peggy return in a movie or a third season’ and Hayley Atwell consistently hints at her return … Continue reading 3 Ways We Could See Agent Carter Return To The MCU – ScreenHub Entertainment
