All Star Wars Live-Action Movies & Shows Ranked (Including ‘Andor’) – ScreenHub Entertainment

Damn right, folks! It’s time for another ranking, and yes that means Star Wars…again. The simple reason for it is that our previous ranking is now obsolete and we did not include the Disney+ TV shows at the time, which feels pretty necessary now (considering their high quality). The holidays gave us the time to reappreciate some of the movies and best episodes in specific … Continue reading All Star Wars Live-Action Movies & Shows Ranked (Including ‘Andor’) – ScreenHub Entertainment

Let’s Talk About The Star Wars Sequel Trilogy – ScreenHub Entertainment

Star Wars has been all about the small screen over the past few years. Whether this is The Mandalorian, Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Book of Boba Fett, Andor or even The Batch Bad (and a whole bunch more on the horizon, such as Skeleton Crew and The Acolyte), we’ve had a lot of Star Wars since the sequel trilogy concluded back in 2019 with The Rise … Continue reading Let’s Talk About The Star Wars Sequel Trilogy – ScreenHub Entertainment

‘The Last Jedi’ Is Aging Better After Five Years, Here’s Why – ScreenHub Entertainment

This December, it’s been five years since the most controversial and debated movie in Star Wars history, The Last Jedi, hit the theatres. After such time, we think it’s important to take a few minutes to think and analyze what this movie accomplished (or failed to accomplish), but also how it changed Star Wars canon forever…and divided the world’s biggest movie fanbase for the years … Continue reading ‘The Last Jedi’ Is Aging Better After Five Years, Here’s Why – ScreenHub Entertainment

“Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” REVIEW [NO-SPOILERS] – ScreenHub Entertainment

Fair to say, Knives Out by Rian Johnson was a surprise hit in 2019. At the time, he was a director in need of love and recognition after directing the most controversial Star Wars movie since the franchise started in 1977. Both sitting in the director and writer’s chair once again, the director of Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Looper created a modern reboot … Continue reading “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” REVIEW [NO-SPOILERS] – ScreenHub Entertainment

‘The Skywalker Legacy’ Documentary Review – ScreenHub Entertainment

After a shipping delay due to Coronavirus, I’ve finally got my copy of The Rise of Skywalker. It’s the only episodic Star Wars film I’ve seen once in cinemas and instead of jumping to the movie for a rewatch, I opted to watch The Skywalker Legacy, the two-hour documentary that’s included with it. I found the previous doc, The Director and the Jedi, included with … Continue reading ‘The Skywalker Legacy’ Documentary Review – ScreenHub Entertainment

Despite The Turmoil, Rian Johnson Is Still Making ‘Star Wars’ Movies & We Don’t Deserve Him – ScreenHub Entertainment

It must not be too easy being Rian Johnson right these days. The acclaimed director of films like Brick and Looper and in my opinion, the best episode of Breaking Bad, “Ozymandias”, landed a dream job and got to direct a Star Wars movie. Not just any Star Wars movie, but the eighth episode in the core saga. The hype was certainly real as all … Continue reading Despite The Turmoil, Rian Johnson Is Still Making ‘Star Wars’ Movies & We Don’t Deserve Him – ScreenHub Entertainment

One Year Later: ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ – ScreenHub Entertainment

Where to even start with this one. When Disney acquired LucasFilm and announced they were going to make more Star Wars films, people were admittedly a bit worried. But The Force Awakens came along and despite some familiarities, is generally praised for its great characters and classic feel. The spin-off film Rogue One released a year later and surprised audiences by being the first film … Continue reading One Year Later: ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ – ScreenHub Entertainment

Spoilers ahead for The Last Jedi

In January 2018, Empire Magazine made a list of the greatest movie villains of all time. The big bads were all there, including Darth Vader, Voldemort, Joker and Hans Gruber. What surprised a lot of people though is that the relevantly new villain, Kylo Ren, who is the primary antagonist in the current Star Wars saga, came in at number seven. With the recent announcement of the home video release dates and production set to begin on Episode IX in the next few months, now seemed like a good time as ever to talk about the future of Kylo Ren.
