The Bob’s Burgers Movie is finally coming to theaters and a friend of ScreenHub Entertainment, Matthew Torres (AKA The Storytime Guy), was fortunate to get an early look at the Belcher family on the big screen. After twelve seasons, 237 episodes, and 474 extremely bad puns (that’s only counting the opening credits), we were eager to see what a fellow Bob’s Burgers fan thought. Here is his review:

Matt’s Review

I was lucky enough to get invited to an early Showing of The Bob’s Burgers Movie by Disney and 20th Century Studios. So, here’s my [spoiler-free] review. See that smile on my face? That’s genuine and I wore that smile the entire movie.

I went into this movie going “I hope we get some good musical numbers” and left thinking “Oh my God, those are some of the best musical numbers in the history of film”. Not just musical numbers, but the dance numbers that went along with them… You’re gonna freak out.

If you’re a Bob’s Burgers fan, like I am, I can almost bet money that you’re gonna cry during the final moments of this movie. Now, don’t get me wrong. If you’re not a fan of this show, or you’ve never seen it, you’re still gonna like this movie. It’s very funny. But if you are a fan of this show, my goodness.

The Bob’s Burgers Movie gets five out of five from me. It is unapologetically itself and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
