According to George R. R. Martin, author of Game of Thrones, casting is underway for the first Game of Thrones prequel (The Long Night). He wrote on his blog on October 30: Jane Goldman scripted the LONG NIGHT pilot and will be running the show.   She and her team are busy in London right now, neck deep in casting, and I [Martin] expect some more names will … Continue reading Everything We Know About The First ‘Game Of Thrones’ Prequel: Not ‘The Long Night’ – ScreenHub Entertainment

Un-complicating Television This Fall – ScreenHub Entertainment

TV has come a long way since the early days of I Love Lucy and The Love Boat. These days, in fact, a show like Game of Thrones sometimes garners more critical praise than the latest Oscar contender. Still, there’s something to be said for remembering television’s history, its early simplicity. Shows that can play on that simplicity in fresh ways can be every bit as enjoyable as the complicated and confusing critical darlings. Star Wars Resistance: ‘The Triple Dark’ Review – ScreenHub Entertainment

Now that we’ve passed the extended premiere, fans can settle into a regular and cosy run time of around 22 minutes. The episode sees Kaz learning the ropes of being a mechanic while simultaneously working on his mission for Poe and uncovering a plot to attack the station. There is no racing in this episode but that doesn’t mean we don’t have a great ship … Continue reading Star Wars Resistance: ‘The Triple Dark’ Review – ScreenHub Entertainment

How Hollywood Dilutes Diversity – ScreenHub Entertainment

The onset of 2018 brought its own set of disruptions that upset society’s normally peaceful façade. With such disorder came a surge of change that has yet to show any signs of slowing. Among these controversial conversations were political talks centred around a push for equality of all kinds – equality for racial minorities, for women, for the LGBT+ community. While none of these topics have emerged as novelty ideas, previously unfamiliar to humanity, their importance has been widely disregarded throughout history by people in positions of power. Politicians, the media, and the big businesses alike have turned a blind eye to the most marginalized groups in society; yet, as this new era dawns, many are determined to give prominence to those whose lives are too often neglected.

4 Unconfirmed ‘Game Of Thrones’ Prequels In Production: What Could They Be? – ScreenHub Entertainment

(Disclaimer: This post contains mild spoilers for Game Of Thrones)

While Game Of Thrones comes to an end next year with season 8, five prequels have been announced to be in production but only one greenlit so far (The Long Night). Game of Thrones has easily become the most popular show of the decade and will arguably surpass J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle Earth in the coming years. I think it’s fair to say that we want to see more of the Game of Thrones world following the end of the show and I think delving into its rich lore and history are just the way to do this. In this post, I will be breaking down what the 4 unconfirmed prequel shows could be and what else could be done with the universe.

Based on the novel by Jay Asher, 13 Reasons Why centres in on the … Continue reading A Second Chance for ’13 Reasons Why’? – ScreenHub Entertainment
