‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout’ Review – ScreenHub Entertainment

Usually, when a film franchise reaches its sixth film, we as audience members tend to roll our eyes and say it’s a lack of creativity, they’re milking it and that it won’t be that good. And while that may be true of most film franchises, the same cannot be said of Mission: Impossible, which just released its sixth film, Fallout, this past weekend. The series is known best these days for the seemingly psychotic stunts actor Tom Cruise pulls and Fallout brings that fact to the next level.

1001 Movies: Intro – ScreenHub Entertainment

Movies. Everyone loves them and everyone watches them. Whether it’s watching an escapist form of entertainment, where you’re given a chance to check your brain at the door and just enjoy the movie for what it is, or you seek out a more artistic endeavor that has you thinking and feeling deeply, there’s no denying that movies are a big part of our culture and lives.

As an avid movie watcher though, the 100+ years of films can seem rather overwhelming. With millions of movies to choose from, it can become a difficult task when it comes to picking a movie for your Friday night movie nights. Especially if you’re trying to play catch-up and watch the classics, revisiting films from the past to expand your Film Buff Knowledge.

Why ‘Predator’ Is A Subversive Masterpiece – ScreenHub Entertainment

Most people don’t think ‘art’ when discussing Predator. The 1987 science fiction classic is fondly remembered for spectacular action, quotable dialogue, and a monster who has joined the ranks of Frankenstein and Dracula as a cultural icon. However, many overlook some of the film’s more subtle underpinnings. Though at a glance the film is just another entry into the 80s cycle of action films, it … Continue reading Why ‘Predator’ Is A Subversive Masterpiece – ScreenHub Entertainment

SDCC: Why The ‘Aquaman’ Trailer Didn’t Completely Reel Me In-ScreenHub Entertainment

The big winner at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con was without a doubt Warner Bros, dishing out a ton of amazing trailers and news, including a sneak peek at Wonder Woman 1984, a surprise trailer for Shazam!, a look ahead at their TV programs including a look at the DC streaming service, and killer trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald; a contender for best trailer of the show in my opinion. But the clear audience winner was the trailer for Aquaman. At the time of the start of this writing, a day after the trailer debuted, it’s still the number one trending video on youtube. The film is due this December and has only just started its marketing campaign, causing a lot of hype and anticipation around the film. Now that the trailer has surfaced (sorry), let’s talk about it and why it was actually a bit of a letdown.

A surprise treat awaited fans at the Xbox corner at this year’s Montreal Comiccon and that was a hands-on demo for the upcoming game from Square Enix/Crystal Dynamic, Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Montreal Comiccon: Interview With Local Artist Christopher Moore – ScreenHub Entertainment

Part of the fun of any Comiccon is taking in all the sights and sounds and that includes the plethora of local artists who set up shop to show off their impressive artwork inspired by the films, shows and comics they’ve consumed over the years. One such artist is local boy Chris Moore, who specializes in drawing realistic and comic book inspired portraits of superheroes. While at Comiccon, Chris was kind enough to share his time with me to give me an interview about how he got started, what inspired him and where he’s going.
