While Game Of Thrones comes to an end next year with season 8, five prequels have been announced to be in production but only one greenlit so far (The Long Night). Game of Thrones has easily become the most popular show of the decade and will arguably surpass J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle Earth in the coming years. I think it’s fair to say that we want to see more of the Game of Thrones world following the end of the show and I think delving into its rich lore and history are just the way to do this. Brace Yourself; A ‘Game Of Thrones’ Prequel Has Just Been Greenlit – ScreenHub Entertainment

News just broke out that HBO has officially ordered a Game of Thrones prequel pilot episode set thousands of years before the events of the main series and books. The fantasy epic hasn’t even come to a conclusion yet, with the final eight season due sometime in 2019, but HBO knows a good thing when they see it and want to ensure subscriptions stay up after the show is complete. So naturally, they want to continue to explore the history of Westeros and all it’s complicated families.

Brace Yourself – Two Different Joker Movies Are Now In Development – ScreenHub Entertainment

Suicide Squad was no one’s favourite movie. Despite a rockin’ trailer, the film opened to overwhelmingly negative reviews. I myself couldn’t even finish the film, despite initially being excited to see the ensemble piece starring Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Jared Leto as the Joker. But the film made a killing at the box office thanks to its impressive marketing campaign that showcased style over substance. Now, one of the most divisive and unusual aspects of that film is getting his own standalone film.

Where ‘God of War’ Should Explore Next – ScreenHub Entertainment

In 2018, God of War was released on the PS4 to universal acclaim and became a best seller overnight. It boosted sales of the PS4 console itself and proved to naysayers that singleplayer gaming isn’t dead. The 2018 edition of the game saw a lot of advancements made, from an emphasis on story and character to a semi-open world structure that encouraged exploring and sidequests. The new game took the action from Ancient Greece, where the original trilogy and its spin-offs took place and brought Kratos, the border-line villain from the original games and thrust him into the realm of Norse mythology, along with the responsibility of being a single dad. It was quite the shift and critics and fans loved it. Now with the sales and reception being so positive, it’s only a matter of time before a follow-up title is announced. So where should Kratos and his son explore next? While it seems that the next game will continue to be set in the Norse Pantheon, the studio is looking to the future and considering other locales to bring the God of War to.
